BizSlate is a Software-as-a-Service Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that helps small and medium sized businesses (SMBs) overcome supply chain and operational issues they face while running their business. BizSlate is the initial product of BizSlate, Inc., a software solutions provider whose mission is to create simple, intuitive and easy-to-use tools that help small and medium sized companies more effectively manage and grow their businesses. The company is led by a proven management team possessing significant experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supply chain solutions.
Marc Kalman
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Kalman was co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of eZCom Software Inc., a SaaS Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) provider focused on helping SMBs streamline supply chain operations around EDI relationships. Under his leadership and with little outside capital, eZCom evolved from the ground up into a well-respected, highly competitive company. Mr. Kalman has been recognized as a leading authority in the supply chain space, and has been recognized as one of the top supply chain professionals in the country by Supply and Demand Chain Executive for 3 consecutive years.
Michael Park
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Park serves as the Company’s Chief Technology Officer. Most recently, Mr. Park was the Founder and Managing Partner of Park & Co., a boutique consulting firm specializing in the management, engineering and development of software solutions and applications for Web 2.0, ERP, and Finance. Prior to that, as Vice President of Technology for FreshDirect, an online fresh food manufacturing and distribution company that serves the direct-to-consumer market and the food service industry with the freshest possible perishable foods, Mr. Park was responsible for the technology infrastructure and the backend engineering and operations for the entire company, from inception through FreshDirect’s quick and aggressive growth.

Claire Calandra
Director
Ms. Calandra is the founder and principal of The CLC Group, LLC, a management consulting company specializing in strategy and corporate training. Additionally, she serves as a Clinical Professor at Rutgers Business School teaching Business Strategy, International Business and Principles of Management in the International Executive MBA (China and Singapore), Executive MBA, MBA and undergraduate programs.
Prior to 2002, Ms. Calandra was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of TyCom, Ltd., a $2.5 Billion publicly traded telecommunications company. In that role, she led the development, manufacture, installation and maintenance of undersea telecommunications systems among the world’s continents. She also spent 14 years at AT&T, serving in a variety of legal and business positions, including Chief Counsel of two of AT&T’s businesses, Chief of Staff to the Vice Chairman and Director of International.
Ms. Calandra has a Bachelor’s degree from Douglass College, Rutgers University and a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers Law School.
Robert N. Friedman
Director
Mr. Friedman is an accomplished CEO and seasoned retail business leader. With a proven track record of transforming businesses and attracting top-notch talent, Mr. Friedman sets clear, actionable strategies and builds high performing teams by instilling ownership and accountability aligned around those strategies. His career has been underscored by an ability to energize organizations, empower people, and generate outstanding results. Mr. Friedman brings a dual set of accomplishments to his work in the retail industry. He drives revenue and margin growth by leveraging his strong foundation in merchandising, marketing, and operations. He compliments this with deep experience in corporate restructurings, acquisitions, going private transactions, and IPOs.
Following 16 years as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Loehmann’s, a national off-price retailer, Mr. Friedman continues to serve as Vice Chairman of Loehmann’s Board of Directors and acts as a consultant to the Company currently exploring options that will lead to Loehmann’s developing an online presence. Prior to Loehmann’s, Mr. Friedman held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Bamberger’s, a division of Macy’s Incorporated. As CEO of Bamberger’s, Mr. Friedman led a number of strategic initiatives including a shift of business to an assortment more consistent with the company’s upscale customer, launch of the country’s first ready- to-wear private labels, and the merger of Bamberger’s with Macy’s East in 1988.
Mr. Friedman received a Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University.
George Mulling
Director
George Mulling has over 25 years of global sales and business development management experience. He has held positions as SVP Sales, Marketing and Business Development with companies such as Bertelsmann, RR Donnelley/Modus Media International and Mitrix. His primary industry experience includes supply chain services, logistics, technology, manufacturing and customer relationship management. George has taken businesses from start up to over $100 million globally and built complete organizations in North America, Europe and Asia. He has managed new business development for all these companies, combining the identification of viable markets and regions, the creation of a compelling product and service offer and the delivery of revenue. George has had P&L responsibility for a $125 million business within Modus Media International, a now public, $1 billion company, with finance, sales and operations reporting to him.
In addition to direct sales, George has developed channel strategy and created strategic and channel sales partnerships worldwide.
He has strong technology experience with ecommerce as well as supply chain management technology.
George has a BS in Business from Virginia Tech and has done additional post graduate business studies at both UCLA and the University of Southern California.
